High energy rock band Gaucho, are bringing original music to Retford again.

Soul-searching lyrics combined with body moving funky beats create Gaucho's spirit.

The Clinton Arms will experience the unique sound of Gaucho, bringing rock back to its roots on June 15.

"We're excited to be bringing our music to Retford again" says lead singer Marcus. "After having spent the last few months cooped up in the studio laying down new tracks, it's time for us to start gigging again.

The band have just finished filming a track for their track 'Well Remembered'.

"It's been such a busy time for us recently" says drummer Barney, "but we're all ready and eager to get out there again now and play our new stuff."

Other members of the band are Lodge on Guitar and Elge on bass.

Described as 'a band so tight you need a tub of Vaseline to get some of the hooks out of your head' by Sandman Magazine. Gaucho will be performing a number of tracks their Influential Times, plus showcasing their new material.

The four piece band hail from Notts and formed in 2005.

Now in their second year of being together Gaucho are ready to ambush the music world with their tunes.

Gaucho makes Trax!

Retford band Gaucho will be featured on Trax FM, 1o7.1-107.9 FM on Wednesday 30th May at 6.50pm.

Described as a ‘band so tight you need Vaseline to get some of the hooks out of your head’ by Sandman Magazine, original high-energy rock band Gaucho, will be answering a variety of questions on Mike Bargh’s show.

‘It’s been such a hectic time for us recently as we’ve been busy writing and recording new material,’ says drummer Barney.

Soul-searching lyrics combined with body-moving funky beats create Gaucho’s spirit. The band is fronted by the powerful and emotional voice of Marcus with Elge (bass), Lodge (guitar) and Barney (drums) providing the music.

‘We’ve spent the last few months in the studio recording and have also just finished filming a video for our track Well Remembered, which will be shown on Sky television later this year,’ says Marcus.

Gaucho on the way.

High energy rock band were once described as being "so tight that you need a tub of vaseline to get some of the hooks out of your head".

The Notts quartet have been recording new songs but are now heading to West Street Live on Wednesday.

"We're excited to be bringing our music to Sheffield," says lead singer Marcus. "After spending the last few months cooped up in the studio its time to start gigging again".
